404 errors...but they are labelled as images
This is my first attempt to speed up a website in this way.
I understand from the tests that I need to reduce image sizes on my site, however, I getting several major errors. They are indicated as 404 errors...but they are labelled as images in the test results. When I copy those images shown into a browser...it instead pulls up a web page showing "page cannot be found". How can I correct this..it's obviously not really an image but the pages ARE associated with 3 separate images. I'm confused. Help will be apprecitated. Thanks |

RE: 404 errors...but they are labelled as images
My guess is you've got a 404 handler that serves a custom not-found page and as the images are missing then this is being served instead of the images.
Are the images actually on the server? Andy Using WebPageTest - http://usingwpt.com/ |
