Israel test center not reporting DNS lookup times - Marvin - 08-23-2011 01:33 AM

The Israel test center doesn't report DNS lookup times. It always reports "4ms" for the first look up, and completely skips the subsequent DNS look up times.

The Israel test center still doesn't report correct DNS lookup times. Here's another test sample result:

The following is a list of domains & sub-domains from the tested page, and the corresponding DNS lookup times.

- http://www.webpagetest.org 4ms
- cdn.webpagetest.org (none!)
- http://www.google-analytics.com (none!)
- pagead2.googlesyndication.com (none!)
- platform.twitter.com (none!)
- apis.google.com (none!)
- ssl.gstatic.com (none!)
- googleads.g.doubleclick.net (none!)
- plusone.google.com 1ms
- google.com 1ms
- d1ros97qkrwjf5.cloudfront.net (none!)
- beacon-1.newrelic.com (none!)

hmm, thanks. I'll see if I can get remote access to the machine and see if there is some other software interfering.
